Confyra AI · Policy information
Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information Confyra AI handles to provide learning, speaking practice, AI coaching, and subscriptions. It describes the current service and does not claim legal approval.
Implementation verified: October 11, 2026 · This is not legal review or approval
1. Information handled
- Account: Your name and email address and the information needed to create and maintain your sign-in. You can sign up with email or choose Google sign-in.
- Learning: lessons completed, progress, scores, and related activity used to show your learning history, XP, and streaks.
- Practice: session dates and duration, estimated visual and vocal metrics, and the practice scenario or topic. Completed results and AI coaching may also be saved in this browser so you can view them again.
- Subscriptions and payments: your selected plan and subscription status, billing dates, and provider references used to verify access. Payment details are entered in Razorpay Checkout; the current integration does not send raw card details to Confyra.
2. Camera and microphone processing
When you choose to start a camera practice and grant browser permission, the page obtains a live camera stream. MediaPipe processes video frames in the browser to calculate estimated eye-contact, presence, stability, and posture metrics. The current code does not upload or persist raw video frames.
When a microphone audio track is available, Web Audio processes it in the browser to calculate speaking-pace, pause, volume, consistency, and overall vocal metrics. The current code does not upload or persist raw audio or a transcript. Derived metrics may be saved with the practice session and sent to Gemini as described below.
MediaPipe’s WASM package and model are downloaded from jsDelivr and Google Cloud Storage. Browser permissions can be denied; camera/audio processing only starts after the user action and permission flow.
3. AI coaching and other providers
For result coaching, the authenticated server sends Gemini the selected scenario and topic plus calculated session scores and available vocal metrics. The current integration does not send raw camera/audio or a transcript to Gemini. Google’s handling of API requests is governed by Google’s applicable service terms and privacy information.
Supabase provides account and data services. Razorpay provides subscription Checkout and sends subscription and payment updates to Confyra. These providers handle information under their respective terms and privacy notices.
Confyra uses received information to provide login, lessons, progress/XP, practice history, quota enforcement, subscription entitlement, support, security, and requested AI coaching. AI-generated coaching is informational, may be inaccurate, and does not guarantee specific outcomes.
4. Sharing and access controls
Confyra shares information with the providers described above as needed to deliver the features you use. We take steps intended to protect account and service data, but no method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Do not include sensitive personal information in speaking topics or other content you submit. Hosting, logging, analytics, and provider settings should be confirmed before making broader statements about data use.
5. Retention and deletion requests
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, email confyraai@gmail.com from your account email. Identify the account and describe the request; never send a password, sign-in code, or payment credentials. We may ask for additional information to verify your identity. Some information may need to be retained where required by law or needed for legitimate security, payment, or dispute purposes.
There is no in-app account-deletion control. Requests are handled manually, and the application does not currently provide an automated process to delete all account, learning, and practice information across its systems. Practice results saved in your browser are not removed by signing out; you may also need to clear Confyra site data in your browser. Service providers may hold separate records under their own retention practices. We have not published a fixed request deadline or backup-retention period. We will confirm the outcome or explain any limitation; a request is not complete until you receive confirmation.
6. Children, changes, and questions
Confyra does not ask for or verify your age, and it does not provide a parental-consent process. This policy does not set a minimum age or establish whether the service is intended for children. Mantan Kumar must decide the intended age group and confirm the applicable requirements before representing that minors may use the service. This policy may be updated as features and providers change; the “Last reviewed” date above should be updated with each material revision.
Privacy questions and requests: Contact & Support or confyraai@gmail.com. Confirm this currently published mailbox is monitored.
